March has seen two schools come to Bassenfell for the first time. Dean Primary had a fantastic 3 days activities residential early in March, and Beatrix College all the way from Holland had a great five days with a mix of cultural and outdoor activities.
Beatrix College's feedback: "Mark's thoughts were really inspiring" and "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - you were so welcoming. We'd like to come back next year!" They loved the walk up Dodd, and (being Dutch) they definately thought it a mountain rather than a hill!
Dean had brilliant weather and enjoyed an action packed few days with an evening walk, canoeing, abseiling, tree climbing, bushcraft, stackers and more. "All of the instruction has been brilliant. All the instructors engaged well with the children, learnt names quickly and friendly yet firm on safety. Instructors were able to change style easily to meet the needs of the children."
We look forward to welcoming more schools this Spring. We still have a few mid weeks available so get in touch if you know a school that may be interested in the Bassenfell experience. All programmes are taylor made to the schools needs.
