Groups from Bassenfell Manor Christian Centre go outdoor rock climbing at Headend quarry, 15 minutes from Bassenfell. Residential groups or external day visit groups are welcome to book an outdoor rock climbing session. Lots of opportunity to challenge yourself and learn to belay.
You will wear a helmet and sit harness and be securely attached before climbing the limestone crag. Climbs of varying difficulty can be tackled and when you're not climbing, you'll be helping belay your team mates. Other venues can be used if a full day is available.
Alternatively we run indoor climbing wall sessions - there are two walls in Keswick, or further afield there are walls in Penrith, Kendal and Carlisle.
All outdoor sessions instructed by a fully qualified instructor.
Session length: half or full day.
Cost of session: half day £21 per person; full day £33 per person. Minimum group size 4 people
