Bassenfell Manor Christian Centre now owns Bank Wood which is a 7 acre woodland a few hundred metres from Bassenfell
This is a varied mature semi-ancient woodland with a great variety of trees and wildlife. Bassenfell will conserve the woodland and manage it to ensure it remains healthy. It is also a great resource for future bushcraft and there is a quarry which we're hoping to develop an abseil activity. there is a public footpath running through the wood, so next time your at Bassenfell, why not take a walk out to it - it's accessed by a short walk along North Row (the road at the bottom of Bassenfell).
