For those who are confident paddlers wanting to progress onto the sea, and for sea kayakers wanting to explore the Cumbrian coast. We meet at Bassenfell for a lake session on Monday afternoon, then there’ll be 4 guided day trips on the sea including coaching from Andy and Mike. Weather permitting, a trip across the Solway Firth, and to the St Bees cliffs will be on the programme, and evening sessions to improve your knowledge. Sea kayaks provided. This will be the fourth year of running this excellent holiday. A 2012 participant wrote:

 2013 Sea Kayak Journeying    29 September - 4 October 2013 (Sun-Fri)          £365

Western Scotland is our destination, based near Oban. We will meet on the Sunday evening at our superb 4 star accommodation which is on the coast, then have four days paddling including a wild camp. This holiday is for people who already know they enjoy sea kayaking, and who want to explore! The accommodation is booked from the Friday, so there is option to arrive early!

It really is a great sea kayaking area with lots of islands, open sea and sounds to explore. There are many options of trips, so we will make the most of the winds and tides.
