Sea Kayak Scottish Isles 24 - 30 September 2016 (Sat - Fri) £410 view images
Western Scotland is our destination, based near Oban. We will meet on the Saturday for an evening meal at our superb 4 star accommodation which is on the coast, then have five days paddling including a wild camp. This holiday is for people who already know they enjoy sea kayaking, and who want to explore! The accommodation is booked from the Friday, so there is option to arrive early.
It really is a great sea kayaking area with lots of islands, open sea and sounds to explore. There are many options of trips, so we will make the most of the winds and tides (the dates have been booked taking the tides into account). All food is provided and every one 'chips in' help with catering. Each morning Andy or Mike share a Christian 'thought for the day' at breakfast.
2015 was fully booked with more people on a waiting list, so book early to avoid disappointment! We had great weather and trips completed included a circumnavigation of Seil Island including cooking tea out with an amazing red sky and then a fantastic night paddle back, and an expedition to the Garvellachs including a wild camp. 2016 will be our fifth year at Ardmaddy.

Thanks so much for a really brilliant 5 days. It was a super group in a fantastic place with great leaders and wonderful sea kayaking! We both learnt a lot, and look forward to improving further!” Ant and Sarah “Well organised, splitting the group sometimes gave everyone the opportunity to stretch themselves a bit more if they wanted to.” Esther “Great wisdom was delivered in a very friendly and low key manner. The leaders had a very pro-active approach, ensuring that everyone was within their comfort zone, with safety a prime consideration.” Steve “It had everything I was looking for: time to relax, think, blow the cobwebs away (may be that was the wind) and have a laugh with great company. Being able to get on the water for four consecutive days was just what I needed so thank you for all the effort to get us out despite the weather conditions."
