Walking in the valleys, by lake shores and on the fells is a great way to spend a week’s holiday (following the Bassenfell tried and tested formula!) This holiday includes all transport, food, comfy accommodation, walk leadership, support car and guidebook. Meet at Bassenfell, Thursday afternoon, before a train journey to St Bees. After an evening meal and B&B we’ll set off, with our luggage in the support car. The walking is generally low level, and walking from the door will give plenty of time. If the distance is too much, you’ll be able to get a lift in the support car to the accommodation.
